Information, tips and tricks for your floor can be found in our FAQ.
My oiled floor looks grey after a while. Where does this come from and what can I do?
If the floor looks grey, you need to re-oil it. Regular wet cleaning always removes a minimal amount of oil, which then leads to greying after a while. If this is the case with your floor, you should first carry out a basic cleaning with eukula intensive cleaner and then re-oil with eukula refresher classic or eukula care oil.
How often do I have to re-oil or refresh my oiled floor?
Of course, this depends on how the floor is used. You can refresh a normally used floor in the living area 2 to 3 times a year with an oil care product such as eukula H2Oil care. A proper re-oiling is less often necessary, every 1 to 2 years you should re-oil your floor with a product like eukula refresher classic.
Which products do I use for the maintenance cleaning of an oiled floor?
For easy maintenance cleaning and care, we recommend a combination product such as eukula care emulsion. This cleans the floor and at the same time gives it back the nutrients it needs – all in one step.
Which products do I use for the maintenance cleaning of a lacquered floor?
For lacquered wood and cork floors, we recommend eukula cleanfor regular maintenance cleaning. Simply add it to the mop water and start wiping. Tip: You can also remove heavier soiling with eukula clean.
What is the best way to clean my floor? With a cotton or microfibre mop cover?
We recommend that you use a cotton or cotton blend cover. If you use a microfibre cover, please pay attention that it is recommended for cleaning parquet floors. In any case, it is important that you only mop your floor with well-drained cleaning textiles, as cleaning wooden floors too wet will cause them to swell.
My wooden floor needs intensive cleaning. How do I do that?
If the floor becomes unsightly after some time, e.g. due to heavy soiling or care layers, you should carry out a manual or mechanical basic cleaning. To do this, apply eukula intensive cleaner undiluted with the Padmeister and then rub off the softened care film with the help of a green pad or a suitable brushing machine. Then wipe with clean water and allow to dry thoroughly. The floor must not be flooded. The floor must not be flooded. It is best to work in sections to keep the water load on the wood low. After basic cleaning and drying, the floor must be treated again.
